Welsh National String Quartet is based locally in Cardiff, and are Wales’s finest string quartet. We perform regularly for weddings and events in Cardiff, Swansea, Bridgend, Newport, Caerphilly and the throughout Wales. We own the biggest musical repertoire in Wales with over 3700 pieces to choose from. This contains everything from Adele to Handel across a huge variety of musical genres.
Having an energy and passion for our music our string quartet is made up of highly skilled, classically trained professionals. We boast many years performing, both overseas and at home. Many of Welsh National String Quartet members have played in various musical settings and prestigious venues such as The Wales Millennium Centre, Motorpoint Arena, The Town Hall at Morley, Saint David’s Hall, The Llangollen Pavilion, Royal Albert Hall, London Queen Elizabeth Hall and The Royal Festival Hall. Our members also perform regularly with The BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and The English Symphony Orchestra.
